Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS)





IRIS was launched on June 27, 2013 at 7:27pm PDT.

Fully calibrated IRIS science level data (Level-2) is currently being provided through the IRIS webpage maintained at Lockheed-Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory. Lower-level uncalibrated data, e.g. Level-1 data, is available in the JSOC data series "iris.lev1" via the JSOC data export tools. Consultation with the IRIS science team is advised before requesting lower-level data.
