Release Notes on HMI Vector Magnetic Field Data in Several Active Regions
The second release of HMI vector magnetic field data can be found in the following two JSOC data series: [http://jsoc.stanford.edu/ajax/lookdata.html?ds=hmi.B_720s_e15w1332_cutout hmi.B_720s_e15w1332_cutout] and [http://jsoc.stanford.edu/ajax/lookdata.html?ds=hmi.B_720s_e15w1332_CEA hmi.B_720s_e15w1332_CEA]. The first series is a "cutout" subregion of the full-disk image; the second a cylindrical equal area projected map.
This page contains a brief summary of the included regions. The list will be updated as more regions are processed.
The reduction procedures for these data sets are identical to the first release (NOAA AR 11158). For detailed format, technical specification, and user guide, please refer to the previous documentation ReleaseNotes and VectorPaper.
A synoptic data set of the full-disk Milne-Eddington inversion (without azimuthal ambiguity resolution) is available at a 12-hour cadence. You can find links to the data and release notes in the [http://jsoc.stanford.edu/jsocwiki/ME720se15w1332 ME720se15w1332] page.
